Gypsy is here.. Finally!!

I know it's kind of late.. And I said to myself that tonight I am going yo bed early.. I just had to post about my very patiently awaited tool.. My Gypsy that is.. I had purchased my Gypsy online last week and it seem like it took for ever to get here. I kept sending mu husband to check the mail and nothing!! He kept coming back with packages but none for me all for him. Until yesterday, it was my lucky day!! My package finally came in.. I had to open box connect and check out what I have been missing out.. The downloads took for ever but very well worth it.. I have more to learn.. Any tips, suggestions are very well welcomed.. Please do share!! Now I just need to know how to get my 200 cricut rewards points.. :) I'm a happy camper.. Till stylus pen meets gypsy I will post some projects using my free cartridges and cricut.. I need a BLOG MAKEOVER!!

Hello and Happy Tuesday my fellow crafty followers.. It's about 4:15pm and I am very, very  sleepy.. Ummm I wonder why?? LOL!! Well I know.. that's because I was up all night trying to update my blog trying to create my blog button but NO, nothing worked.. I need an expert for this.. I am no web designer.. I tried, but staying up till almost 3 am and waking up at 4:45am trying to fix this is no more.. I need my sleep.. LOL!! Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance

Create a Critter Cartridge..

Yay!!  I am so excited! Today I got my "Create a Critter" cartridge in the mail. I couldn't wait to take it out the package and use it. I had been trying to get this cartridge for a while now. I finally have it in my hands and cricut library. I decided to make a birthday card for my friend's 4 year old son. Happy Birthday Shane!!! Sweet Treats Cartridge..

Cuttlebug has arrived!

I am so excited to say that my Cuttlebug has finally arrived.. I got a great deal on eBay and now my husband says I'm addicted to the eBay bug.. lol!! What can I say the deals are GREAT!!!

I took it out the box yesterday night and decided to take it for a test run... And it worked great!! My son always enjoys helping mommy out with her new toys so he as well had to test it out just to give me the OK..

Family Picutre Frame..

Hello everyone!! Happy Sunday, hope you are having a fun filled day, since most of us return to work tomorrow. For those of you who don't lucky you!! =) Today I am going to share this project I did. My cousin had mentioned she didn't have a family portrait with her husband and kids. I decided that I would surprise her with this gift. What I did I purchased this picture frame from Target. I developed a few pictures I had taken at her birthday party. I developed this pictures in sepia. I used my "Opposites Attract" cricut cartridge to cut out the lettering. And most of all I had a great time doing this. The best part about this was to see her reaction when she opened up her gift. She LOVED it!!!

You're The Best Sister.. Card

Hello everyone! Happy Thursday!! One more day till the weekend... Yay! And of course more time to be creative.. Today I want to share this card I made especially for my sister.. My sister is the best! I spend most of my days with her because we work side by side together .. I tell my sister everything and I think sometimes a little too much. Hee hee! She is used to it. There are times when we have our not so best times with each other but at the end of the day I still lover her to death!! And that is why I made her a special card from the heart!! I love you sis!! Now on to the creation of this card. I used two different cartridges to create this special card. I used the Disney Happily Ever After for my Snow White and also the Lyrical Letters font cartridge for my lettering. Red card stock and as you can see the other different colors I used. I had to use some fine point tweezers to place the smallest pieces such as her eyes and hair bow. I think next time I will do a short video and post it as I am creating my cards.. I had so much fun doing this card. Will share more creations so stay tuned.. Xoxo ~

Friendship Card..

A friend is someone you can count on during good or bad times.. I am lucky to have a few good friends in my life.. Everyday I thank God for putting them on my path.. A friend will lend a hand when you need it. Will also offer a shoulder to lean on. Will cry with you , will make you laugh or even so be the one person that's honest when you are just not looking your best and tells you so because they care.. :) Today's card is about friendship.. My son and I created this beautiful Hello Kitty card using the "Hello Kitty Greetings Cartridge"... We had a blast and this is what we created here at Handmade by Isela.. Hope you enjoy the pics.. My new toy!!

Yay!! I'm super excited!! I finally got my cricut! My hubby is the best! He made it possible to fulfill one of my wants.. I have been wanting this cricut expression cutter for quite sometime now.. My hubby knows how much I like the color purple and this Plum cricut was what he got me.. I have lots of creative stuff to do.. As you can see I also got the Elmo's Party cartridge and I used it to create one of my son's favorite characters "Elmo" .,. Stay tuned for more.. Xoxo Isela
